Should Christians Call for the Abolition of War?

In the Christian perspective there is absolutely no such thing as a necessary evil. Evil is always contingent, always dependent on the good (to have something to pervert). To call war a necessary evil is a tragic failure of both faith and imagination.
I guess this isn’t a secret ballot…
